Eda spoke with Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal Artistic Director, Emma Tibaldo, and PWM dramaturg, Jesse Stong. Since we had to cancel the annual Queer Reading Series this Spring, they discussed the importance of supporting and showcasing new and diverse voices in theatre.

Sat. May 16th, former Shaw Festival Artistic Director, Jackie Maxwell,  joined Centaur’s A&E Director, Eda Holmes, to delve into our recent production of Erin Shield’s Stratford Festival hit, Paradise Lost, and what stories they look forward to seeing on the stage in the future.

Quincy Armorer, Artistic Director of Black Theatre Workshop; Lucinda Davis, actor; Mike Payette, Artistic Director of Geordie Productions

Mike was the Director of August Wilson’s Fences; Quincy & Lucinda were cast in the leading roles in what would have been our final production this season. Fences may yet find its way to the Centaur stage in the not-too-distant future. Stay tuned …
