BRAVE NEW LOOKS

Infinithéâtre presents a new play by Michaela Di Cesare

Extra/Beautiful/U

We’ve all heard beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What if your reality show-winning beauty – your one-way ticket out of St-Leonard – was suddenly in the hands of the nerd you bullied in high school? This is the situation recently disfigured (and formerly beautiful) Lara finds herself in when prodigious surgeon Sam Gagliardi is the only person who might be able to save her face.

Dates: November 30 – December 9

WILDSIDE FESTIVAL

Regularly featuring some of the most exciting independent theatre-makers in Montreal, our annual Wildside Festival is a highlight of each year’s programming. Once again, we will invite the city’s most innovative and groundbreaking theatre artists to share their cutting-edge creations with us all.

Dates: January 18 – February 8

CENTAUR MUSIC SERIES

What better way to cap off an evening at the theatre than with some good tunes? Curated by singer-songwriter Sarah Segal-Lazar, these six free music nights are inspired by the themes of each show and take place in the Centaur Gallery following select weekend performances. Sponsored by The Beavebrook Canadian Foundation.

Dates: October 27 – 28, February 2-3, March 22 – 23, May 2 – 3

CENTAUR EN FRANÇAIS

For the first time in our history, Centaur Theatre has been invited to present a French-language version of one of our shows! Last season’s moving elegy for the planet A Play for the Living in a Time of Extinction by Miranda Rose Hall has been invited to open the 2023/24 season at Théâtre La Licorne as Une pièce pour les vivant·e·x·s en temps d’extinctiontranslated by Sarah Jane Moloney. Directed again by Rose Plotek, the show will feature Francophone actress Fabiola Nyrva Aladin. This is a major step in our ongoing effort to build bridges with the French theatre community.

Dates: September 18 – October 6
