WinterWorks Call for Submissions

PROJECT CALL

Submit your project to WinterWorks 2026 by MARCH 15th 2025

WinterWorks fosters innovation and creativity in the Montreal performing arts community

Providing a dedicated platform for experimentation and artistry that challenges convention, this year’s WinterWorks is looking to support projects that take artistic risks, ask innovative questions, and explore form.

Open to applications from established companies and emerging artists alike, WinterWorks will select exciting, boundary-pushing performance projects to be presented through 3 different streams:

WinterWorks 2026, presented at Centaur Theatre January-February 2026, will present: two productions, one gallery presentation and one reading.
See key information for each specific stream below.
Priority will be given to artists that have a connection to Montreal.

Please note: All works proposed must already have been the subject of prior research and/or must have completed at least one stage of development. Projects must now be ready for the next stage in their evolution: public presentation in January-February 2026.

All WinterWorks projects are presented by the Centaur Theatre, but produced by the selected artist(s), collectives, or companies.
