MOB-All shows cancelled

The COVID-19 recommendations have been in flux since yesterday’s announcement from the Premier of Quebec, which mandated the cancellation of all public gatherings of 250 people or more as well as any unnecessary events. While we are confident that performances of MOB in our small theatre remain below that threshold, we have been carefully considering how best to keep our patrons, artists and staff safe in this evolving crisis.
It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to cancel the remaining performances of MOB beginning Saturday March 14th. All other public events at the theatre are also cancelled until the end of March, at which point we will reassess the situation and follow the recommendations from the Public Health officials.
This is an unusually trying time for everyone with long-lasting ramifications. We gladly extend a full credit towards your next ticket or subscription purchase, however if you are able to consider making your cancelled ticket a donation, we would gratefully provide you with a tax receipt.
Please feel free to give us a call at 514-288-3161 if you have any questions or concerns.
Concerning the rest of the season, we are optimistic that we will be able to bring you the upcoming production of August Wilson’s Fences, in collaboration with Black Theatre Workshop, in late April. It is a wonderful allegory for the resilience of the human spirit and we need art to remind us of that in the face of current events. We hope to maintain the rest of this season’s programming and will keep you updated with any developments
Our website will also have the most current information.
Thank you,
