The Director's Circle
"Thanks to art, instead of seeing a single world, our own, we see it multiply itself until we have before us as many worlds as there are original artists.”
- Marcel Proust
Thank you for taking the time to visit us on-line!
On behalf of our artists, staff and Board of Directors, thank you for taking the time to learn more about Centaur Theatre and our Director’s Circle.
Experiencing a live theatre performance can be a special time when we let ourselves get swept away to new worlds. At Centaur Theatre, we are proud to bring you inspiring and creative theatre that examines the complexities of life, sparks your imagination and engages your sense of community.
Your support and vote of confidence is essential for us to continue our work. Government grants account for only 29% of our expenses. Box office revenue accounts for 42%; therefore, individual donations from supporters like you are all-important. Your tax-deductible contribution makes it possible for us to create world class English-language theatre here in Montreal. It also provides you with wonderful benefits – we invite you to have a look at the table below for details.
Any individual donation received after reaching our annual goal of $50,000 will be placed into Centaur’s Endowment Fund and will be matched dollar for dollar. Whether you are a new or returning member of the Director’s Circle, thank you for your support and we invite you to be SWEPT AWAY with us this season at Centaur.
