Leave a legacy at Centaur
When you leave a gift in your will or provide a major gift to Centaur, you become part of the Imagination Society, a group of visionaries that ensure future generations in Montreal have access to outstanding English-language theatre.
This year, Centaur is proud to team up with Will Power, a national public education effort designed to inspire more Canadians to make a difference to the causes they care about with a charitable gift in their will. Even a small percentage of your estate bequeathed to the arts has a large impact.
Will Power offers all of the tools and resources you need to get started. Visit their website for information concerning:
There is more than one way to make your mark at Centaur. To discuss the various options, please contact Haleema Mini, Director of Development. All inquiries are confidential and free of commitment.
What your gift will support
Guarantee outstanding, relevant, world class English-language theatre for all Montrealers for generations to come
When you donate to Centaur, you are investing in a passionate and gifted team of experienced artists and administrators dedicated to creative excellence, ingenuity, and community connection. From presenting mainstage, children’s, and independent productions to hosting guest companies from around the world or showcasing new works, every theatrical event we stage is driven by a growing circle of diverse artists exploring theatre to understand and reflect every facet of society and the human experience.
In addition to award-winning mainstage productions from local, national and international playwrights, we also offer programmes that discover and develop emerging and established artists from all backgrounds, building theatrical bridges between Centaur and all of Montreal. Here are some of our ancillary initiatives:
- Saturday Salons Intimate, enriching conversations with artists.
- Saturday Morning Children’s Series
- Wildside @ Centaur: Annual festival of cutting edge theatre
- Portico Project: Annual outdoor event on the steps outside Centaur
- Artistic Diversity Discussion @ Centaur: An examination with diverse artists to ensure a welcoming environment for artists and audiences and develop exciting events that open hearts, illuminate minds, and reflect all of our unique communities
- 2021-22 Indigenous Artist Residency
