Corporate and Foundation Support

Align your organization with a prominent asset in Montreal’s economic and cultural recovery

Link your corporation or foundation with Centaur Theatre and align with a recognizable brand synonymous with artistic excellence and diversity. Tax-deductible donations, production sponsorships, program partnerships, naming rights, and patronage of our annual Gala are just some of the many ways your organization can demonstrate its civic support.

As Covid-19 brought the world to its knees, global issues around human rights, equality and diversity arose in full force. Never was it more apparent how essential culture is to our sense of community and well-being as people everywhere turned to their small screens in search of hope and connection. Centaur was there to lift spirits and virtually unite people with free online events.

Once theatres re-open, Centaur will resume its Theatre of Tomorrow program, which welcomes educators and thousands of students every year. Most recently, with the easing of certain lockdown protocols, we sold out a socially-distanced 8-show run of MOB, our award-winning hit that was cut short by the lockdown last year.

How Your Organization’s Donation Will Help

Until 2020, Montreal’s cultural industry injected $11 billion into the local economy per annum. It will take time to re-establish the city’s vigorous entertainment industry but as a vital member of its cultural landscape, Centaur is poised to resume its contribution to the city’s inevitable revitalization. Centaur Theatre needs the financial support of respected organizations that are proud to demonstrate their social responsibility in order to expand our wide range of initiatives and continue producing outstanding theatre for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
