Synopsis

In Anishnaabemowin, Okinum means dam.

Emilie has a dam in her throat. In deciphering a recurring dream of a giant beaver, she discovers how to break down interior barriers and trust in the power of dreams and of intuition. Okinum is an ode to reclaiming language, and reconnecting to the spirits of ancestors.
