INVEST IN A PILLAR OF OUR COMMUNITY
Some of Centaur Theatre’s brightest stars are offstage. Businesses that provide financial support to Centaur contribute directly to our community’s economy and quality of life. Centaur connects supporting businesses with a very desirable audience, highlighting commitment to the community and helping fulfill outreach goals. We are pleased to offer recognition that lasts long after the lights go down, in addition to a receipt for tax purposes.
Each season, over 50,000 spectators of all ages and background attend six mainstage productions presenting the best of the Quebecois, Canadian, and international dramatic repertoire. A major player in the community’s arts scene, Centaur fosters Montreal playwrights and is recognized as the leader in the presentation of Quebec French-language plays in translation.
Our annual Wildside Festival and Brave New Looks development initiatives provide opportunities for emerging, independent artists to produce original works. Centaur cultivates new audiences through our Theatre of Tomorrow program for high school students, and our Saturday Morning Children’s Series for the young and the young at heart.
Almost a quarter of the funds needed to accomplish Centaur’s projects, maintain our heritage building, and keep ticket prices affordable are provided by our fundraising activities. In order to continue to entertain and enrich the community at the highest standards, Centaur relies on its partnership with the private sector.
Thank you for investing in our community.
